Info
History
The club was formed in 1996 by the local table tennis community.
This was at the
request of Lawrence Sheriff School to form
a Table Tennis Centre of Excellence in Rugby. It enabled the school to obtain
£386,500 in funding
to build the local, and regional, "Lawrence Sheriff County Table Tennis
Centre" which was to be used as the school gym during schooltime.

The club became an ETTA
PremierClub
in 2005.
Coaching
The
club is keen to coach players to a higher standard. The Club now has several qualified level two coaches.
The club coaches in local schools and, when
requested, for Rugby Sport for Disabled Association.

The club has a top level coach for most club sessions.
Coaches
attend every session, with Sunday mornings being the primary coaching
session.

Leagues
The club runs internal leagues for club members.
The
club enters several teams in the
Daventry League
and the
Leamington League.
Cadets (under 15's) can enter the
National,
Midland
and
♥
of England
cadet Leagues.
Juniors (under 18's) can enter the
National Junior
League and the
Midland Junior League.
(The National Junior League is held at the centre).
Insurance
The
club is insured under the governing body's Perkins Slade agreement.
Child
Protection
The
club supports, and follows, the ETTA's Child Protection policy. The
coaches who go out and coach in local schools are CRB checked.
